Temperature rollercoaster this weekend: Spain weather forecast November 27-30
The mercury might be climbing but there’s still plenty of rain forecast throughout Spain over the next few days

Average temperatures expected on Saturday November 29
The latest cold front has thankfully passed on by so Spain can look forward to a couple of milder days ahead. However, we are coming to the end of November and while this Thursday and Friday will likely see settled weather, we’re in for some rain and chilly evenings over the weekend.
According to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), another front is on its way. It’s still unclear how active it will be which makes it tricky to forecast how much rain we’ll get but one thing is clear: the thermometers will most certainly drop on Saturday and Sunday.
Thursday November 27

As the northerly from retreats, rainfall will decrease across the country and by late afternoon, there’s only a chance of light showers in eastern Cantabria and the Balearic Islands. The rest of Spain can look forward to a dry, mostly bright day.
Overnight, temperatures will drop below zero in the likes of Madrid and Guadalajara but the mercury will shoot up during the day, with Sevilla and Malaga expecting highs of 17°C to 19°C.
Friday November 28

Friday is expected to be the most settled day of the week. Rainfall will be practically non-existent across the country, with only the possibility of some light showers in the Balearic Islands and the far north. However, a front is expected to arrive from the northwest in the late hours of the day.
The temperature will continue to rise on Friday, with highs approaching 20°C in Sevilla, Malaga, Murcia and Girona.
Saturday November 29

And then comes the rain. Saturday will begin with early morning showers associated with the weak front arriving on Friday. During the morning, a new, more active front will arrive from the northwest, bringing heavy rain to Galicia from midday onwards. These downpours will quickly reach Asturias, Cantabria and Castilla y Leon, spreading to the Basque Country, La Rioja, Navarra and Extremadura by the afternoon.
Daytime temperatures won’t change much on Saturday.
Sunday November 30

In the early hours of Sunday, this front will advance across the country, leaving heavy rain in its wake in Madrid, Castilla-La Mancha, Aragon and Catalonia. However, showers will persist across most of Spain throughout the day and evening.
This front will also carry a new mass of cold air, resulting in much cooler temperatures across the board. The drop will be more noticeable in inland and northern areas, with maximum temperatures falling by 2 to 3 degrees.
