Weather in Murcia, Sunday May 22

After a sweltering weekend in Murcia, temperatures are expected to fall slightly during this week, to maximums of 29ºC on Wednesday May 25. There will be some generalised cloud cover on Monday and Tuesday to minimise the worst effects of the sun, and even some rainstorms on Tuesday night and in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

While no thunder or lightning is as yet forecast in these storms, it is hoped that they will serve to release some of the atmospheric pressure that gives such a heavy feeling of heat in the air.

After that, though, no more rain or clouds are forecast for the rest of the week and temperatures will begin to rise again, back up to maximums of 37ºC in Murcia city on Sunday. Thankfully, minimum temperatures will drop by up to five degrees from last week, giving some slight reprieve at nighttime.
