It’s going to be a hot week in Andalucía this week, and getting hotter as we fast approach summer.
For the most part, it will be gloriously sunny in the south of Spain, with frequent episodes of cloud cover. With the exception of some strong winds on the coast of Almería and Granada this Monday May 20, and possibly some rainfall in the Sierra Nevada mountains of Granada, it will be dry and not too blustery for the rest of the week.

Over the course of the week, it will get progressively hotter, with maximums during the day reaching up as high as 34-35ºC in parts of Seville and Córdoba province by next weekend. On the coast, around Cádiz and Málaga, it will be a more temperate 22-26ºC, but other inland parts of Jaén and Huelva it could almost touch on 30ºC as well.
At night, too, it will become warmer over the course of the week – from minimums between 6-11ºC in the inland areas and 13-16ºC on the coastlines at the beginning of this week, up to 13-18ºC inland and 16-19ºC on the coast.
