Temps to hit 35 degrees: Murcia weekend weather forecast June 20-23

Murcia weather forecast, Friday June 21

This Thursday June 20 is the official start of summertime, and there couldn’t be a better way to welcome it than with a warm and sunny weekend.

For this Thursday, the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecasts “Intervals of cloudy skies during the early morning” and say that “some light rainfall is not ruled out” in the far northwestern mountains of the Region. For the most part, though, there will be some slight cloud cover and “winds from the west, light inland and moderate to strong on the coast”.

On Friday 21 and over the weekend, there will be “light cloudy or clear skies” with temperatures staying nice and high and only “moderate” winds.

In fact, on Saturday 22 the maximum temperature could get up to 34-35ºC in the central and northern parts of the Region, while on the coast it will be just touching the 30-degree mark.

At night, temperatures will not drop below the mid-teens, and in coastal areas it will be closer to the high teens and even 20ºC.

No change after the weekend as these warm, sunny and stable conditions are forecast to continue into next week.
