The Teatro Lope de Vega in Mula serves both as theatre and cinema and has been the main theatre in the town of Mula since the first building with this name was constructed in 1846.
The more modern building replaced it after a century of building and discarding different theatres, receiving the name of the original Lope de Vega theatre when it was opened in 1982.
The theatre seats 727 and is the property of the Town Hall of Mula.
It is used for a wide variety of theatrical, musical and cinema performances and screenings, as well as public events.
