Thunderstorms bring relief mid-week: Alicante weather forecast June 29-July 2
Despite the storms, the Costa Blanca will suffer through another week of tropical nights
Weather outlook on Wednesday July 1
Spain is looking at a pretty unsettled start to July where the only constant appears to be sky-high temperatures. Alicante can expect another week in the mid to high 30s but the main issue will be a succession of sticky, uncomfortable tropical nights, where the thermometers will refuse to dip below 20ºC.
Monday June 29
After a fairly overcast start, Monday is shaping up to be mostly clear with a smattering of high clouds across the province.
Daytime temperatures will hover between 31ºC and 34ºC with the night barely 10 degrees cooler in most parts.
Tuesday June 30
Tuesday should be largely bright and sunny but cloud cover will develop inland during the afternoon. Temperatures will remain unchanged with only light easterly breezes forecast.
Wednesday July 1
Wednesday will be partly cloudy, with darker spells developing inland after lunch and a good chance of scattered showers and even thunderstorms. Even so, the temperatures should remain fairly stable.
Southeasterly winds should bring a little relief to coastal areas in the afternoon.
Thursday July 2
Daytime temperatures should take a welcome dip on Thursday, although the night will still be muggy and extremely warm. The skies will be mostly bright and clear throughout the day with some high clouds.

Tuesday June 30: Min 19ºC, Max 34ºC
Wednesday July 1: Min 20ºC, Max 34ºC
Thursday July 2: Min 19ºC, Max 32ºC
