V16 lights will replace emergency triangles throughout Spain from January 2026
From January 1, 2026, all drivers in Spain will be required to carry a V16 emergency light in their vehicle. This compact, high-visibility beacon will replace the old roadside triangles, offering a much safer and more convenient way to signal breakdowns or accidents.
