A range of free concerts will be on offer for residents and tourists in Torremolinos, Andalucía
The municipality of Torremolinos in Málaga will be celebrating its annual fair, the Feria de San Miguel, from Tuesday September 28 to Sunday October 3, with several concerts and fairground attractions on offer.
This year, due to the epidemiological situation, the stands (or casetas in Spanish) inside the fairground will not be able to open, but three replacements are going to be set up: the Auditorium, the Third Age stand and the Childrens’ stand from September 29 until October 2.
The Childrens’ caseta will be set up close to the fair rides and will be open from 6.30pm until 2am every day, with a special hour (6.30pm to 7.30pm) for autistic or sensory diverse children during which the music will be shut off.
During the day, there will be a Day Fair in the center of the city, with bars, a table service and live musical performances in both in the Plaza de la Unión Europea (Kalima orchestra and the Alboreá orchestra), and in the Plaza de La Nogalera (Meskalina, Money Maker, Mister Propper, Francis León, María Cortés, Silverio Soto, Rubén Fernández and Callejón).
There are also several concerts scheduled during the festivities:
- Wednesday September 29: La Trinidad, Delaporte and Ginebra.
- Wednesday September 29 and Thursday September 30: Rompeolas orchestra at the Third Age stand.
- Thursday September 30: Suzette and Fuel Fandango.
- Friday October 1: Uniform and Iván Ferreiro.
- Friday October 1 and Saturday October 2: Metrópolis orchestra at the Third Age stand.
- Saturday October 2: El Canijo de Jerez and La Húngara.
- Saturday October 2: Macarena Soto at the Third Age stand.
All of the concerts are completely free and guests can enter on a first-come first-served basis until the occupancy limit is reached.
