ARCHIVED - Until May 13 Luz del Pasado art exhibition in Mazarrón
Juan Álvarez y Jorge Gómez exhibit their work at the Casas Consistoriales in Mazarrón
An exhibition of work by the artists Juan Álvarez and Jorge Gómez officially opens on Thursday March 30 at the Casas Consistoriales in Mazarrón under the thitle of “Mazarrón Luz del Pasado”.
The works on display show elements of the local artistic, cultural and architectural heritage, illustrating how buildings – some of them now in ruins – and landscape have been shaped by Man over the centuries. In this sense, even abandoned ruins are still “alive” and in the 21st century we continue to breathe life into them by looking at them and fondly remembering what they represented for past generations.
The exhibition is open to the public every day of the week except Sunday between 10.00 and 14.00 and on Thursday and Friday evenings from 17.00 to 20.00. It should be borne in mind that the venue will remain closed on the public holidays of April 6, April 7 and May 1, and on the last Saturday of every month.
