Until November 17 Pecados VII + I art exhibition in Moratalla
Aron Izquierdo displays his work at the Convento de San Francisco in Moratalla
As part of a Murcia regional government initiative to promote the arts in more rural areas of the Region this exhibition by Aron Izquierdo is on display in Moratalla until November 17, examining the concept of the Seven Deadly Sins from a surrealistic pop art perspective.
The artist also adds an eighth Cardinal Sin, that of ignorance, as a critique of modern-day society, inviting visitors to reflect on the moral conventions which underlie our behaviour.
Izquierdo uses highly vivid in painting often androgenous human forms, having discovered his passion for art as a child in Madrid. He studied at the Art School of Toledo and has always pursued his own style, achieving recognition with exhibitions in New York, Paris and Monaco as well as Spain.
