Until Sept 8 A flor de piel art exhibition at La Fuente Art Centre, Mojácar
Visitors can discover the work of two artists in this contemporary exhibition running throughout the summer
Anyone looking for something a little different to do in Mojácar this summer can take a trip to the La Fuente Art Centre, where a new contemporary art exhibition is bringing together the work of two artists.Called ‘A flor de piel’, or ‘Skin Deep’, the exhibition features paintings by Uli Schwander alongside sculptures by Thomas Neukirch, creating a dialogue between two very different artistic forms.
Rather than simply presenting a collection of individual works, the exhibition invites visitors to take their time, look closely and interpret the pieces in their own way.
Each work offers something different, with the combination of painting and sculpture creating an exhibition designed to be experienced as much as viewed.
‘A flor de piel’ is currently on display at the La Fuente Art Centre and will remain open to visitors until Tuesday September 8, 2026.
The centre is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 2pm, while afternoon visits can also be arranged by appointment.
The La Fuente Art Centre provides a dedicated space for contemporary art in Mojácar and the exhibition offers a chance to discover the work of Schwander and Neukirch while enjoying a quieter cultural stop away from the area's beaches and busy summer attractions.
