ARCHIVED - WATCH: Massive World Cup street brawl between Wales and England fans in Tenerife
The violent Spanish island clash was filmed after England’s 0-0 draw against the USA
Shocking footage has emerged on social media of hundreds of Wales and England fans in a frightening brawl on Tenerife’s main drag after the World Cup match on Friday November 25. The Three Lions drew in a scoreless game against the USA after a decidedly lacklustre performance and afterwards, all hell broke loose.
The viral video shows the football fans gathered on the street outside the famous Revolution bar, throwing vicious punches and kicks, and even bar stools. In the two-minute long clip, one Wales supporter can be seen being completely flattened by a punch to the back of the head, before his assailant aimed a chair at him.
The footage then pans to the pub next door, where a second brawl is underway, with fans repeatedly attacked while on the ground.

Thousands of World Cup fans flocked to the Spanish Island of Tenerife to watch the fixtures, with many unhappy about Qatar’s alcohol ban and the extortionate cost of accommodation. Social media users have condemned Friday’s display though, with one joking that it’s no wonder the middle-eastern country doesn’t want fans drinking.
“People can’t just go out and have fun without having a fight. Pathetic,” another user wrote.
A third tweeted: “Anyone who wants to fight with a complete stranger because they were born in a different place or just so happen to support a different team is backward. They’ll grow up one day.”
The authorities in Tenerife are understandably nervous as Wales and England face off again tonight in what will be the deciding match for this group. England is currently sitting at the top of the group, and unless Iran and the US draw, Wales will have to win by at least four goals to go through to the next round.
