Drinking water supply cut in Los Alcazares for this Wednesday postponed
Water supplies were to be cut in the Mar Menor town for the whole day
The Town Council of Los Alcázares received a letter from the Mancomunidad de los Canales del Taibilla informing them that the supply of drinking water would be cut in the whole municipality this Wednesday, May 8.
This water cut was to last from 8am to 8pm and the Town Hall apologised for any inconvenience this may cause.
However, this planned cut to the water supply has been postponed until further notice as the Los Alcázares Town Council has been in talks with the Mancomunidad de Canales del Taibilla to find a less damaging alternative for residents and business owners, such as doing it early one morning to cause the least amount of disruption while employees of the water company carry out their work.
