Ambulance staff arrived at the scene too late to revive the deceased
A 60-year-old man has been found dead in a swimming pool at a private property in a residential area located in Gea y Truyols, a mainly rural district which lies between the city of Murcia and the airport in Corvera.
The 112 emergencies coordination centre reports that a call was received from a neighbour at 11.57 on Thursday morning, who had found the man in the pool and an ambulance was sent to the scene immediately. On arrival, though, medics found that the man was already beyond resuscitation and could do nothing other than certify his death.
