A warm and sunny week ahead in Alicante: Weekly weather forecast April 20-23

Plenty of sunshine and warm summer-like temperatures are expected across the province this week

After a beautiful, sunny weekend, the good news is the weather is set to stay much the same. It already feels like summer is creeping in, with plenty of sunshine, mild temperatures and clear skies expected over the next few days. Let's take a look at what to expect from the weather in Alicante this week.

Monday April 20

Monday will be mostly clear, although some cloud may linger along the coast early in the morning, with a small chance of mist in places. This will clear through the morning, leaving a bright and sunny day. Temperatures will change little, with light winds becoming more southerly and easterly through the afternoon, occasionally picking up a little along the coast.

Tuesday April 21

Tuesday will follow a very similar pattern, with plenty of sunshine once any early cloud along the coast clears. Night-time temperatures will stay much the same, while daytime temperatures will rise slightly. Winds will remain light, with a gentle breeze developing through the afternoon, especially near the coast.

Wednesday April 22

Wednesday stays mostly clear, with plenty of sunshine once again. Inland areas may see a bit more cloud building later in the day as temperatures rise, but it should stay dry. Temperatures will edge up again, especially during the afternoon. Winds will remain light, with a slightly stronger easterly breeze at times along the coast.

Thursday April 23

Thursday will stay mostly settled, with some sunshine and cloud at times, particularly towards the north of the province. Temperatures may dip slightly inland, but they will stay much the same closer to the coast. Winds will start light, before becoming a bit stronger through the morning, especially along the coast.

It looks like it will be another lovely week in Alicante, with plenty of sunshine and mild temperatures. With summer in the air, it might be a good time to head to the beach and enjoy those perfect beach days before the summer crowds arrive.
