ARCHIVED - Air Nostrum launches new summer route connecting Seville and Castellon
New flights linking the Andalucia region via Seville province to the Valencia region in Castellón province
The flights will be operating twice a week, on Wednesdays and Fridays, from July 28 until September 3
The Air Nostrum airline have announced that tickets are now on sale for two new bi-weekly flights connecting Sevilla with Castellón, which will be operating this summer.
The flights are on Wednesdays and Fridays and will be running from July 28 until September 3. On Wednesdays, the plane will leave the San Pablo airport in Sevilla at 11.50 am and will depart from Castellón at 1.40 pm, while on Fridays, the first flight will set off at 2.45 pm from Sevilla and the second will leave Castellón at 4.35 pm.
Tickets are already available on the Iberia.com website, with prices starting from 29 euros for a return flight. The plane completing this route is a CRJ 1000 with capacity for 100 passengers.
This connection between Sevilla and Castellón will be the first time that Air Nostrum operates out of the Castellón airport and the airline have stated that this new route aims to favour tourism in both provinces by providing flights in both directions.
With 75,507 flights and 5.2 million passengers every year, Air Nostrum is the biggest regional airline in Spain, as well as one of the biggest airlines in Europe. This company, which operates for the Iberia Group, provides more than 1,400 jobs and has a turnover of more than 500 million euros.
