Aldi crowned 'Best Supermarket of the Year 2026' by Spanish shoppers

Aldi has scooped not one but two top awards as Spain’s favourite supermarket chain for 2026. Recognised as both the “Best Supermarket” and the “Best Discount Supermarket” at the 15th edition of the Best Retailer of the Year Awards. Their win reflects the affection and trust it has earned directly from its customers.More than 100,000 consumers voted in nearly 60 categories, making this award a true measure of customer satisfaction and loyalty. The ceremony took place on October 22 during the ‘Revolution in the World of Retail 2025’ event in Barcelona, bringing together industry leaders and retail innovators.
