This is where the DGT has cameras to make sure you are wearing your seatbelt
Wearing a seatbelt is one of the easiest ways to increase road safety
The European Automobile Associations (AEA) have made public a list of traffic cameras used by the Directorate General of Traffic (DGT) in Spain to catch people who do not wear their seatbelts while driving, or do not stop at red lights, stop signs or else commit other driving infractions.
This information has been released in the interest of showing drivers that the authorities have means of monitoring them on the roads and that any misbehaviour will be sanctioned.

Of the 224 such traffic cameras on the roads throughout Spain – which should not be confused with speed cameras – five are located in the Region of Murcia. All five of them are located to the north of the Region, on major roads connecting the province to other parts of Spain.
Three of these cameras are located on the A-30 autovía that goes up to Albacete (specifically at kilometres 98.5, 112.9 and 138.3) and another two are on the A-7 road up to Alicante province (at kilometres 554.75 and 564.6).
All the devices installed throughout the region, according to the AEA, are aimed at controlling the use of seat belts. “We are convinced that the vast majority of motorists always comply with traffic regulations and use seatbelts and child restraint systems, not for fear of penalties but because they are fully convinced of their usefulness.”
The AEA has sent out a reminder that “seatbelts are one of the most important things for the safety of passengers in a vehicle, especially for the driver”. Most vehicles already warn occupants when they are not wearing a seatbelt.
