Booking opens on Wednesday for June free tours of the Roman amphitheatre of Cartagena
See for yourself the progress in excavating the 2,000-year-old arena
As of 9.00 on Wednesday 20th May booking is open for the free guided tours of the Roman amphitheatre in Cartagena, where excavation is still under way as more and more of the 2,000-year-old arena is gradually uncovered.
The tours are scheduled every weekend during June and each visit begins at the panoramic lift in Calle Gisbert at 10.30. Prior booking is essential (starting at 9.00 on 20th May, when places will become available online here). A maximum group size of 30 has been established.
