Brit woman in coma in Benidorm after tattoo during hen party trip
29-year-old in critical condition as family launches fundraiser for life-saving treatment

Despite her worsening condition, she managed to walk herself to the hospital, where medical staff acted quickly after discovering dangerously low oxygen levels. She is now being treated for multiple organ failure, with her heart, kidneys and lungs all said to be affected.
Doctors have not confirmed the cause of the complications, but reports suggest they are exploring the possibility of a bacterial infection or reaction to unknown substances introduced during the tattoo process.
One of her friends said doctors had to operate immediately once they understood how serious her condition was.
The woman’s family has described the situation as “shocking.” “We just want her home and safe again,” one relative said. “This has been every family’s worst nightmare.”
They have launched an online fundraiser to help cover the cost of treatment. So far, more than £4,600 (around €5,300) has been raised out of a £14,000 (€16,000) target.
