ARCHIVED - British tourist, 21, fights for life after falling from balcony in Ibiza
The holidaymaker is in intensive care after plunging from his 2nd floor accommodation in Playa d’en Bossa, Ibiza
A 21-year-old British tourist is fighting for his life after falling from a second floor balcony in the popular party resort of Playa d’en Bossa in Ibiza.
Local sources claim the young man, who has not been named, was trying to jump between balconies when he fell on Thursday morning, July 21.
The holidaymaker sustained head wounds and other serious injuries and remains in intensive care at the private Nuestra Senora del Rosario clinic.

The alarm was raised at around 5.40am and emergency services and police rushed to the adult-only Jet Apartments where the Brit was stabilised before being transferred.
Police have launched a probe into exactly what happened and enquiries are ongoing although there has been no official comment from the Guardia Civil.
In August 2017, Brit Carl Shepherd, 28, died at the same apartment complex after a three-floor tumble at 5.30am.
The tourist, known as Daniel to his friends and family, had reportedly fallen asleep on a ledge between the terrace of his apartment and a neighbouring apartment when he fell.
Last month, a 23-year-old British holidaymaker plunged to his death after falling from an historic cannon in the popular Barcelona coastal town of Sitges after a night out with friends.
