British tourist found dead in Ibiza hotel room
This is the second tourist death in 3 days at the famous Ibiza Rocks hotel

A 33-year-old British woman was found dead in her room at the hugely popular Ibiza Rocks Hotel in Sant Antony de Portmany, on the Balearic island of Ibiza.
Local police and emergency services responded to the hotel shortly after 6.30pm on Wednesday April 30 and attempted to treat the tourist, who had suffered a cardiac arrest. After more than 40 minutes of resuscitation, doctors declared her dead, according to local reports.
It has since emerged that the young holidaymaker suffered from a pre-existing heart condition and was travelling with an implantable cardioverter defibrillator.
Following standard procedures, the Guardia Civil has prepared a report on the incident, which will be forwarded to the judicial authorities, although there are no suspicious indications surrounding the incident.
This is the second tragedy at the Ibiza Rocks hotel in Sant Antoni in the last week. Last Sunday, April 27, a 19-year-old girl died after falling from the fourth floor when she was reportedly trying to get into her room through the balcony.
The hotel management company issued a statement expressing regret for the tragic events and expressing "its dismay and its utmost support to the families of the victims, thanking them for respecting their privacy in the face of this situation of incalculable pain."
