Corvera Airport bus service extended for two months
The bus service connecting Cartagena and Murcia cities with the airport will run until March 31

In anticipation of a bumper spring season at Region of Murcia International Airport, more commonly known as Corvera airport, the decision has been made to extend the bus service that connects the Corvera terminal with Cartagena and Murcia cities for two more months.
Since January 12, passengers coming from or heading to the airport have the choice of public bus services on Mondays and Fridays. This current schedule expired on March 25 but a new timetable will kick in on Friday March 29 and will run until the end of May.
"From next Friday until May 31, travellers will be able to continue enjoying the same itinerary with new schedules, with this extension, thus taking advantage of the 30 flights that operate on both Mondays and Fridays at the International Airport of the Region of Murcia and whose addition represents a positive fact for the regional government," commented head of Public Works José Manuel, who added that "this offer will be enhanced in the months of the summer season."

As an additional bonus, the price of a one-way ticket between Murcia or Cartagena and the airport will remain at just 1.85 euros. Further information and full timetables can be found at Interbus Murcia.
Since its launch in January, 451 passengers have used the public bus service, a figure which is growing by the day thanks to more connecting flights from Madrid and Barcelona.
