Craft market every Thursday in La Florida, Orihuela Costa
Looking for a unique and fun shopping experience? Look no further than the La Florida Thursday market
The Orihuela Costa has no shortage of exciting and colourful street markets, packed full of the freshest fruit and veg and stalls of unique gifts and clothing. But the Emerald Isle's weekly Thursday market offers a shopping experience with a difference.
Nestled in the heart of bustling Playa Flamenca, shoppers can browse through a variety of handmade crafts and gifts each week between 10am and 3pm, where local artisans gather to sell their wares amidst the picturesque backdrop of the resort's swimming pool.
From handcrafted jewellery and decorative home goods, to one-of-a-kind paintings and sculptures, there's something for everyone at this pool-side craft market. You'll discover unique souvenirs and gifts for friends and family back home, as well as a huge choice of greeting cards, soaps, candles and more.
Once you've built up an appetite from bargain hunting, you'll be spoiled for choice for a tasty treat. Sample some savoury goodies made fresh by the lovely Katherine from the Rolling Pin Cafe, or opt for one of Jeff's delectable cakes or bakes.
After you've shopped til you've dropped and refuelled, enjoy a song and a dance with legendary entertainers Leroy Morales and Stevie Spit (from February, Stevie Spit only).
