ARCHIVED - Easter opening hours in shopping centres and supermarkets in the Murcia Region

Many stores will remain open during Holy Week in the Murcia Region but some schedules have changed

Shopping Centres

• Nueva Condomina (Murcia): Open Holy Thursday (April 14) and Easter Sunday (April 17). Closed Palm Sunday (April 10), Good Friday (April 15) and the Bando de la Huerta (April 19).
• Thader (Murcia): Open Holy Thursday (April 14) and Easter Sunday (April 17). Closed Palm Sunday (April 10), Good Friday (April 15) and the Bando de la Huerta (April 19).
• Myrtea (Murcia): Open 365 days a year.
• Espacio Mediterráneo (Cartagena): Open 365 days a year, except December 25 and January 1 and 6.
• Parque Almenara (Lorca): Open Holy Thursday (April 14). Closed Palm Sunday (April 10), Good Friday (April 15) and Easter Sunday (April 17).
• Dos Mares (San Javier). Open 365 days a year.

Supermarkets

• Mercadona stores will only open for a half day on Holy Thursday and will remain closed on April 10 and 15.
• Lidl has published a similar schedule although it will operate normal hours on April 14.
• Consum in general will open between 8am and 10pm on Holy Thursday and Good Friday, as well as during Bando de la Huerta in the municipality of Murcia. However, some Consum establishments in the Region will close on Good Friday so it is advisable to check the website.
• Carrefour will open on Holy Thursday and on Easter Sunday, although some stores, such as the ones located in San Javier and the Espacio Mediterráneo in Cartagena will also open on Good Friday.
• In cities such as Murcia, Aldi will only open on Holy Thursday but in more tourist coastal areas, such as San Javier and Cabo de Palos, they will also be operational on Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
• Alcampo Murcia will open on April 14, Holy Thursday, and on April 17, Easter Sunday, while it will remain closed on the 15th (Good Friday).
• The El Corte Inglés stores will open in Murcia on April 14, Holy Thursday, and on April 17, Easter Sunday, while they will remain closed on the 15th (Good Friday).
