ARCHIVED - Fifth edition of ECOS music festival in Murcia: August 27 to September 12
12 concerts in the Region of Murcia: Alhama de Murcia, Aledo, Librilla, Mula, Pliego and Totana
The festival showcases early music, from both national and international artists, in the spectacular scenery of Sierra Espuña, Murcia.
In addition to several concerts, the ECOS festival also offers guided tours, nature hikes and local food tastings.
As a novelty this year, the organisers have also arranged six ‘family concerts’ during the day.
The municipalities of Alhama de Murcia, Aledo, Librilla, Mula, Pliego and Totana will all be hosting concerts this year.
The programme for the three weekends is:
*Weekend 1
Friday, August 27, 9pm - Raquel Andueza and La Galanía at Ermita de los Remedios, Pliego.
Saturday, August 28, 10am - Mavra at Ermita de los Remedios, Pliego.
Saturday, August 29, 9.30pm - Anacronía and Mavra at Convento San Francisco, Mula.
Sunday, August 29, 10am - Anacronía at Convento San Francisco, Mula.
*Weekend 2
Friday, September 3, 9pm - Manfredo Kraemer and Silvia Márquez at Plaza de la Iglesia, Librilla.
Saturday, September 4, 10am - Jaloque at Plaza de la Iglesia, Librilla.
Saturday, September 4, 9 pm - Pablo Zapico and Serindipia at Los Baños Archaeological Museum, Alhama de Murcia.
Sunday, September 5, 10 am - Ars Quartetae at Teatro Cine Velasco, Alhama de Murcia.

Friday, September 10, 9pm - Brezza and Olalla Alemán at Santuario de la Santa, Totana.
Saturday, September 11, 10 am - Brezza at Santuario de la Santa, Totana.
Saturday, September 11, 9pm - Cantoría at Estrecho de la Agualeja in Aledo.
Sunday, September 12, 10 am - Clarines del Concejo at Estrecho de la Agualeja, Aledo.
The first tickets go on sale from Tuesday, August 17, and will be available one week before each concert.
