Mayor’s video shows the moment the local fiestas came to a close with the fireworks
The Sant Jaume fiestas celebrating the patron saint of Benidorm came to a close last night, Wednesday November 17, with a spectacular fireworks display over Poniente beach.
After a parade through the city with parade floats and local associations out in force in their traditional Alicante-style dress, the fiestas ended not with a whimper, but with a bang as the fireworks display began at 10pm on the Playa de Poniente, as captured on video by Mayor Toni Pérez.
