German tourist caught sneaking into Spanish hotel rooms to fondle guests
The 23-year-old snuck into a female holidaymaker’s room through a Palma de Mallorca balcony

Palma Local Police have arrested a 23-year-old German tourist for allegedly sneaking into a hotel room and fondling a woman while she slept.
According to a police statement released on Thursday August 14, the incident occurred this past Monday at a hotel in Playa de Palma. Officers were called after the hotel reported that a man had entered a room that was not his.
The victim, a female tourist, told police that she woke up to find a stranger sitting on her bed, caressing her leg. Her partner, who had also woken up, managed to remove the man from the room and saw him heading into the adjoining room.
Reception was notified immediately and officers quickly located the suspect in the neighbouring room.
The man told police that he "didn't know how he ended up in the couple's room" and could not recall whether he had been touching the woman.
Investigators confirmed that the balconies of both rooms were connected and separated by a screen, which appeared to be the route he used to enter the room.
The tourist was arrested on charges of sexual assault and trespassing and was brought before a court once the investigation was completed.
