Gordon Strachan and Kenny Dalglish confirmed for European Senior Masters golf tournament at La Manga Club in association with Equals Money
An even bigger line-up of golfing greats and sporting legends has been confirmed for November 2025

Hosted once again by Ryder Cup star Peter Baker, the tournament will feature an extraordinary line-up of golfing legends and sporting icons. Among the latest additions to the roster are Scottish football legends Gordon Strachan OBE and Kenny Dalglish, both of whom will be joining the celebrations at La Manga Club.
The list of competing golfers is equally impressive. Alongside past Ryder Cup heroes Ian Woosnam, Paul Lawrie, Colin Montgomerie and Philip Price, this year’s championship will also welcome Irish star Paul McGinley, who has four European Tour victories to his name. Joining them are three more Ryder Cup players: Jamie Donaldson of Wales, Scotland’s Stephen Gallacher and France’s Jean Van de Velde. With so many seasoned professionals in attendance, spectators can expect four thrilling days of world-class golf and unforgettable moments on the fairways.
La Manga Club, renowned for its immaculate courses and stunning Mediterranean setting, continues to strengthen its reputation as a premier destination for international golf. The return of the European Senior Masters’, in association with Equals Money, for yet another year underscores the resort’s growing prestige and its vital role in showcasing the Region of Murcia as a top-tier sporting venue.
The event will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Golf, offering global coverage and bringing the excitement of the competition to millions of viewers around the world.
A wide range of sponsors is backing this year’s edition, including Murcia Today and Spain Today Online, along with TKO Radio, Home & Living Magazine, Bentley Leicester, Coca-Cola, Marena Murray, Heniam & Associates, La Quinta Club and La Manga Life Magazine, among many others.
To celebrate the tournament’s return, Murcia Today is giving readers the chance to win one of 100 free tickets. Each ticket grants entry for two people across all four days of the championship.
