The Region of Murcia still has the second-lowest cumulative incidence rate in Spain

The latest coronavirus pandemic update published by the regional health authorities on Monday March 20 shows that hospitalisations and intensive care admissions, arguably the most accurate indication of how the health crisis is progressing, have remained stable this week, fluctuating by just one or two patients.

In addition, the 7-day figure has crept up to more than double this number (15.85).
Despite this jump, the Region of Murcia still has the second-lowest incidence rate in the country after the autonomous city of Ceuta (19.53) and is well below the Spanish national average of 72.05 cases per 100,000.
Hospitalisations and fatalities
