July 6 Woodwork and carpentry take centre stage at the El Zacatin arts and crafts market in Bullas
The July market in Bullas features some of the finest artisan woodworkers in the Region of Murcia
Bullas is hosting its monthly El Zacatín artisan market on Sunday July 6 between 9.00 and 14.00 in the squares around the Plaza Vieja and Plaza del Castillo and along Calle San Antón.
As well as the usual large array of varied stalls and stands and live demonstrations, the ficus this month is on woodworking and carpentry, while for youngsters there are activities including an origami workshop.
This is the oldest regular artisan market in the Region of Murcia, dating back to 1994, and always offers a wide range of traditional artisan crafts and gastronomic goodies. There is plenty of parking in the streets nearby and the market is easy to find, the main route off the motorway running straight to the central plaza.
