June 13-15 Traditional Spanish fiestas in Los MartÃnez del Puerto and El Palmar
The Patron Saint Fiestas of El Palmar and Los Martínez del Puerto will flood the streets of these small villages with music and activities for all ages this weekend

Starting from this Friday June 13, the Fiestas Patronales are being held in different outlying parts of the municipality of Murcia, including Los Martínez del Puerto near La Torre Golf Resort, and El Palmar, located between Murcia city and El Valle Golf Resort.
The fiestas “will once again flood the streets and squares with free activities for all the family, organised by the different Municipal Boards,” according to Murcia City Council.
From music festivals to parades, workshops, foodie competitions and sporting events, these two districts will once again become a meeting point for local residents to celebrate culture, coexistence and traditions.
Los Martínez del Puerto kicks off its Patron Saint Fiestas on Saturday June 14
The morning of Saturday June 14 in Los Martínez del Puerto, a village close to La Torre Golf Resort, Las Terrazas de la Torre and Corvera, will begin with an original parade of vintage cars at 10am in Rincón de Beniscornia, with the cars later gathering at the Pistas Deportivas for people to go and see.
At 10pm there will be the reading of the Pregón (opening speech) followed by the crowning of the Queens and Court of Honour 2025, and a great chupinazo (fireworks display) animated by the Trío Costa Azul to kick off the festivities.
Sunday 15 will be a particularly intense day in Los Martínez del Puerto, with a full day of celebrations. At 11.30am, the Huertana Eucharist will take place, with a performance by the Grupo de Coros y Danzas San Antón de la Peña La Zaranda. Other activities include an Outdoor Painting Competition, a Tapas Route, live musical entertainment and activities for children.
A whole week of fiestas in El Palmar
In the hamlet of El Palmar, these popular fiestas will be celebrated until Friday June 20. It starts this weekend with a children’s party, followed by a lively Fiesta Rociera in the Recinto de Fiestas on Calle Pintor Velázquez.
El Palmar continues its programme of festive events with the Titan Parade at 7.30pm on Friday June 13 in the Recinto de Fiestas and, much later at 11.45pm, Marlene will take to the stage to entertain the crowds.
Saturday June 14 will also see the various events scheduled for DivFest, such as the Screen Printing Workshop at 5pm, and the concerts, from 6pm, by Karlan, followed by Mireia Caray! and DJ sessions. All this will take place in the city’s Jardín Chino area.
In El Palmar, the closing of the weekend will come at 8pm with a lively Migas Competition, also at the Recinto de Fiestas on Calle Pintor Velázquez.
