March 3 Olor a Incienso pre-Easter concert in Aguilas

The flavour of Semana Santa arrives at the seafront auditorium in Águilas

The Agrupación Musical San Juan Evangelista of Águilas has confirmed that it is offering two concerts during Lent as the town prepares for Semana Santa, the first of them on Sunday March 3 at 11.30 at the Auditorio y Palacio de Congresos Infanta Doña Elena.

This third annual “Olor a Incienso” concert features the Roman centurions of San Pedro in Alcantarilla, the Agrupación Musical Señor del Monte from Guardamar del Segura, the and Agrupación Musical Arroquia Martínez from Jódar in the province of Jaén, as well as the San Juan Evangelista group.

The second of the concerts scheduled is on Friday March 8 in the parish church (Parroquia del Carmen) at 20.30, with a special Lent concert.

Admission to both concerts is free of charge.
