Massive travel discounts to celebrate Black Friday in Spain
Bag a bargain on flights and train fares throughout Spain with some of the best deals
Black Friday, which falls on November 24, 2023 is undoubtedly the biggest shopping day before Christmas and here in Spain, there’s even more opportunity to bag a bargain since many businesses operate a week-long campaign of discounts and bonuses.With travel prices on the up and up, we’ve found two of the best Black Friday deals available in Spain this year.
Cheap flights
Iberia Express is cracking down on sky-high prices and offering discounts of up to 40% on flights booked online between Monday November 20 and November 27.
To grab the discount, customers need to be a member of the airline’s Club Express. The cheap flights are available for travel between November 28 this year and June 15, 2024 and can be purchased on the Iberia Express website.
It’s important to note though that the discount is only applied to the actual flight fare, so additional airport taxes and charges may still apply.
Some of the best deals on offer are flights to Ibiza from the 12 euros, Gran Canaria for 23 euros, Berlin from 27 euros and Crete for as little as 45 euros.
Cheap trains
If train travel is more your speed, check out Iryo’s ‘Red Friday’ deals. The low-cost rail company has launched its own discount campaign with one million tickets on sale for 11 euros.
The promotion covers travel between January 15 and November 20 next year so sadly the Christmas period is excluded, but you can still book a bargain seat for Easter and other holidays.
Tickets can be purchased until Sunday November 26 on the Iryo website. Once you enter your dates, origin and destinations stations, you’ll be presented with all the options of 11 euros in the ‘Inicial’ rate. This is Iryo’s cheapest deal but it’s also the most flexible: passengers can change their travel details at any time before the trip and customers who cancel their ticket 7 days in advance will receive a refund of 80%.
