ARCHIVED - Mazarron police thwart house burglary in progress
The would-be thieves left tools behind as they fled the property on Bahía urbanisation in the Region of Murcia town
Mazarrón Local Police officers managed to thwart a house burglary in progress during a night patrol at Bahía urbanisation.
The suspects managed to flee before police entered the property and as yet are still at large. But they did leave behind tools and stolen items abandoned in their haste to escape, which may offer a lead in terms of fingerprints.
It’s not clear exactly when the would-be house raid took place or if anybody was home at the time, but the local police shared details on its social networks on Thursday January 2022 urging the public to call 112 or 968 591 496 in the event of any similar suspicious incidents.
