Missing Brit found alive and well in hospital in Tenerife
The British man, who had been missing for more than two weeks, is found alive in hospital on the island
Paul Wrigglesworth, a 60 year old British man, has been found alive and well after disappearing from Los Cristianos on December 16. Paul was last seen on FaceTime when he contacted his family back home from the Big Ben pub on Juan Carlos I, in Tenerife.
Paul had arrived in Tenerife in November and had been on the island for several weeks when he went missing on December 16. His phone then went dead on December 22, and that is when his family began to really worry about his safety.
According to local organisation Missing Persons Tenerife, Paul was finally tracked down on New Year’s Eve in a local hospital where he will remain for the time being.
The Organisation then stated that “His family will be travelling to Tenerife shortly, and hopefully he will be on his way home in the coming days. Thank you to everyone who helped.”
It is not known how Paul ended up in hospital, but previous appeals had described him as potentially being in a “vulnerable situation” and sleeping rough on the island.
