More buses and new routes coming to La Manga this summer
Extra buses will run from mid-June through September to better serve locals and tourists in La Manga

In anticipation of another bumper summer season, La Manga has once again decided to increase the frequency of some of its most popular buses and alter the routes so that public transport will cover the entire length of the tourist enclave.
These new services will begin operating in mid-June and will continue until September, with additional buses every day and even more travel options at the weekends.
Line 43 will move its terminal from Pedruchillo to Aldeas de Taray, and Line 44 will move its terminal from Aldeas de Taray to Veneziola II.
This is the second service improvement this year, following an agreement signed in January between the La Manga Consortium and the transport company TUCARSA, which allowed for the implementation of discounts funded by both municipalities.
This agreement covers lines 23 (Los Urrutias - La Manga), 43 (Cartagena - Pedruchillo), 44 (Cabo de Palos - Veneziola) and 46 (San Pedro del Pinatar - Cabo de Palos).
The discounts include free travel for people in vulnerable situations, such as people with disabilities and at-risk families, and reduced fares, between €0.30 and €0.80 per trip, for groups such as large families, retirees, young people and the unemployed.
A total of 275 transportation cards have already been issued to residents who have qualified for these discounts.
