Although the rain will be sparse this week, weather warnings have been issued for strong winds
Murcia weather forecast, Thursday November 24The north and northwest of Spain can expect to receive rain for much of this week, drenching whole communities for days on end with no let up, but the Region of Murcia in the southeast will stay largely safe and dry, save for a few scattered showers here and there.In fact, one day last week, the Murcia municipality of Mazarrón was the hottest place in Europe. But while it will be sunny and not too chilly this week, the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has issued yellow weather alerts for this Monday and Tuesday across the coast of Murcia for strong easterly and northeasterly winds of up to 60km/h (gale force 7) and waves of between 2 and 3 metres high.Murcia weather forecast, Monday November 21For now, no other such weather warnings have been issued from Wednesday onwards, when the stormfronts will pass and the wind speed is expected to die down to a much more normal 15km/h maximum.Caravaca de la Cruz, Cieza, Yecla, Jumilla and other northern areas of the Region will get rain on Monday November 21 and even some thunderstorms, and Murcia city and central will receive some showers too.
