ARCHIVED - One dead and two injured after being run over by a police car in Palma
Two victims have been transferred to hospital in a serious condition in Mallorca
One person has been killed and two others seriously injured after being run over by a Local Police car on Paseo Sagrera in Palma on Thursday morning, June 2. Officials have opened an investigation to establish the details of the accident.
The incident occurred shortly after noon when the police car collided with the three pedestrians at the top of the Consolat de Mar, killing a 25-year-old man and wounding the other two.

Medics treated the wounded 36-year-old man and 35-year-old woman at the scene, stabilising them before they were transferred to Son Espases Hospital while the deceased has been moved to the Juaneda Clinic.
Representatives from the Local Police have expressed their “sincere” condolences to the family of the deceased and offered their support to the relatives and friends of the two injured pedestrians.
