Public holidays in the Region of Murcia agreed for 2024
The Region of Murcia Day (June 9) falls on a Sunday next year and the following Monday will not be an official holiday

Public holidays for 2024 in the Region of Murcia have been approved with 12 non-working days confirmed, and a further two that will be determined by each of the region's 45 town councils.
One of the features of next year's working calendar is that Tuesday March 19, 2024, Saint Joseph's Day, will be a public holiday. However, on the flip side, Region of Murcia Day (June 9) falls on a Sunday next year, and the following Monday will not be a local official holiday.
The Regional Minister for the Presidency, Tourism, Culture, Youth, Sport and Spokesmanship, Marcos Ortuño, confirmed the public holiday dates approved at the meeting on Wednesday April 5, which will be as follows:
- Monday January 1
- Saturday January 6
- Tuesday March 19
- Thursday March 28
- Friday March 29
- Wednesday May 1
- Thursday August 15
- Saturday October 12
- Friday November 1
- Friday December 6
- Monday December 9
- Wednesday December 25
These days will be paid and non-recoverable.
