September 25: Free guided tour opens up one of Spain's most beautiful villages
Mojácar Town Hall is offering a free guided tour of the historic centre to celebrate World Tourism Day
Mojácar is the perfect setting to celebrate World Tourism Day, with the local Town Hall organising a free guided tour of the picturesque historic centre for people of all ages.
The tour will take place on Friday September 25 at 10am in the heart of Mojácar Pueblo, giving residents and visitors alike the chance to explore one of Spain's most beautiful villages just as autumn begins.
A fully prepared guide will lead participants through the winding streets, explaining the history of the municipality and pointing out some of the hidden corners that make the historic centre so special.
The guided tour is open to everyone, whether they live in Mojácar or are simply visiting. Advance booking is required for both locals and tourists, either at the Mojácar Municipal Tourist Office or by calling 950 61 50 25, and registration needs to be completed before Friday September 25.
Thanks to the Town Hall's collaboration, registration is completely free for all participants.
The tour promises to showcase the history, heritage and gastronomy that make Mojácar such a unique place to visit, along with a few hidden gems that many might not have come across before.
World Tourism Day officially falls on Sunday September 27, but the Town Hall pointed out that the tour has been scheduled for Friday instead to fit around other commitments and make it easier for people to attend.
