ARCHIVED - Spain scraps SpTH Form for vaccinated UK travellers
Passengers arriving in Spain with an EU or NHS Covid Pass will not need to complete the lengthy form
Ever since the Spanish Tourist Office in London made an embarrassing blunder and announced incorrectly that unvaccinated British tourists could travel freely to Spain, confusion has abounded as to the actual entry requirements.
On March 29, the Spanish government announced that it would be extending its temporary non-essential travel restrictions for third countries until April 30. What this essentially means is that adults residing in non-EU/Schengen countries, including the UK, who are not double jabbed or haven’t overcome coronavirus in the past six months can’t come to Spain for a holiday.
On the other hand, Britons who are fully vaccinated can freely enter Spain without the need for a Covid test. However, if your second jab was administered more than 270 days ago, a booster vaccination is now required for entry.

There has been one major change, however; passengers arriving from the UK who hold an EU Digital Covid Certificate or an NHS Covid Pass will no longer need to complete the lengthy SpTH Form prior to arrival, greatly simplifying travel to Spain.

In addition, the Spanish government announced on Saturday April 9 that unvaccinated minors aged between 12 and 17 from non-EU or Schengen associated third countries will be permitted to enter Spain with a negative PCR test carried out 72 hours before departure. Previously, this age group had to have a test taken 72 hours before arrival to Spain, so the new rule affords far more flexibility.
Children under the age of 12 travelling from the UK don’t require vaccinations or proof of a negative Covid test.
