Spain Today Online and TKO Radio join forces
We are teaming up with the well-known Alicante radio station to expand the English-language news horizon in southeast Spain
There are exciting new developments in Spain’s English-language media landscape as the shareholders of Spain Today Online have acquired the radio station TKO Radio.
Based in Torrevieja, TKO Radio has been going for over 20 years and is a well respected mainstay of the media for local listeners.
Spain Today Online, which runs the news websites Spanish News Today, Alicante Today, Murcia Today and more, has been running for over 15 years and is a trusted source of online print news in the area.
The alliance of these two companies promises to create a powerful news engine capable of delivering high-quality and informative news and entertainment to English-speaking readers and listeners in southeast Spain, expanding operations down into Murcia from Alicante.
Peter Fisher, Owner and Director of Spain Today Online, said, “This will give both companies a No. 1 spot in the market, with over 3 million listeners and readers combined.”
