Tennis star Andy Murray plans lads holiday to Spain
Team GB will be jetting to Magaluf to celebrate the latest win
Fresh from securing a spot for Great Britain in the final eight of the Davis Cup, scheduled to take place in Malaga this November, Scott Andy Murray has excitedly revealed he has booked a “lads” holiday to Magaluf with pals Jack Draper and Dan Evans.
After pulling off a sensational come-back, Evans and teammate Neal Skupski beat off their French rivals to finish top of Group B at the AO Arena in Manchester. The quarter finals, which will take place in the Costa del Sol between November 21 and 26, will see the Brits go head-to-head with Serbia for the 2023 Davis Cup Final 8.
Shortly after the spectacular win, Murray took to Facebook and posted a photo, followed by his vacation plans: “When you book your lads holiday to Spain.
“Magaluf we are coming.”
Team GB now knows it will face off against Serbia but the final date of the match is yet to be fixed.
The International Tennis Federation (ITF) said: “The schedule will be published in the coming weeks.”
Back in April 2016, the tennis pro spent ten days training in Mallorca.
“Love Majorca. Still can’t catch a good tan even in this weather though,” he wrote on social media at the time.
