The Casa de Cultura is the main venue for cultural events in Guardamar del Segura

The Casa de Cultura in Guardamar del Segura is located in Calle de Colón, 60, very close to the town centre, the tourist office and the Town Hall, and is an impressive modern building (officially opened in 1989) which also houses the Museo Arqueológico de Guardamar (MAG).

Since the building has this dual function it can be visited both morning and afternoon between Tuesday and Saturday, from 11.00 to 14.30 and 18.00 to 21.30 in summer (1st July to 15th September) and from 10.30 to 14.30 and 17.30 to 20.30 for the rest of the year, although the office hours for the Casa de Cultura itself are from 08.00 to 15.00.

The Casa de Cultura is used for a variety of events throughout the year, although in July and August many are held outside at other venues. The annual program typically includes theatre, dance, concerts, congresses and cinema among the events taking place, and the main hall holds an audience of up to 420.
