ARCHIVED - Tours of Roman Amphitheatre in Cartagena sell out within minutes
The tours proved to be hugely popular with Cartagena’s public
Guided tours of the historic Roman Amphitheatre in Cartagena sell out in minutes after bookings were opened to the public.
The 200 places offered reportedly sold out within minutes as it seems locals are eager to see the Amphitheatre site, which is currently undergoing restoration work.
The tours are set to take place at the weekend throughout November (20 and 27) and December (4, 11 and 18) and the council has opened up waiting lists due to the popularity of the tours, so that any cancellations or duplicate bookings can be filled.
Cartagena’s Town Hall has also stated that they are contemplating the possibility of new tours in the near future.
