The Councillor for Sports in Lorca, Irene Jódar, has underscored that “Lorca is once again an international benchmark in this sport, beach volleyball.
“This summer the city will host several championships organised by the Royal Spanish Volleyball Federation, which we thank for choosing our city to hold these events because in addition to the sporting importance they have, they represent an increase in hotel occupancy as the athletes who participate are usually accompanied by their families.”
For his part, the director of the International Volleyball Centre, Juan Lario, has announced that “next month the Spanish Championship of Regional Selections (CESA) will be held in Lorca in the children’s category between 16 and 20 August.”
