ARCHIVED - Vaccination campaign for children begins in Spain
Some 3.3 million children aged between 5 and 11 in Spain will be offered the vaccine
The controversial campaign to vaccinate children aged between 5 and 11 years has officially begun in Spain on Wednesday December 15 after the autonomous communities started receiving their doses of the special Pfizer jab earlier this week.
Thus far, only five regions have opted to administer the coronavirus jabs in schools, with the vast majority of the country’s 3.3 million youngsters instead being directed to health centres, hospitals and dedicated vaccination centres.
