Villa on Mazarron Country Club sold in State auction
Villa appears in the State auction and is snapped up in a late flurry of bidding
A villa which had been entered in to the Spanish state on-line auction on September 17 through the Murcia judicial authority and which had an outstanding mortgage of just over €118,300 , has been snapped up in late bidding.
The Villa was described as occupying a plot of 218.15 m2, a semi-detached property with an address on Calle Diligencia, and the auction valuation was listed as €174,160.73 with no minimum bid amount. The online 20-day bidding process was due to end at 6 pm on October 7, and after at least one bid was lodged a couple of days before the deadline a flurry of last minute bids triggered 20-minute extensions to the deadline.
This kept the auction open for an extra hour and 11 minutes, and according to the closure certificate the auction ended with the highest bid of just over €109,700.
A property on Mazarrón Country Club Urbanisation appeared in the auction around a year ago as did 24 plots of land, although these were entered through a “secret bid” procedure, all the plots received bids.
Bidding in the state auction is only accessible by those registered with the auction authority who are then able to bid and have access to the ongoing procedure, there are other stipulations which include the payment of deposits.
