Wind, rain and snow give way to sun: Murcia weekly weather forecast February 26-March 3
We will have some rain, wind and snow at the beginning of this week before the sunshine returns
The start of this week will be a bit drizzly and blowy in the Region of Murcia, but as we say goodbye to this leap year February, it will be much sunnier and drier, with temperatures of up to 23ºC.
To begin with, though, the Region is under yellow weather warnings on Monday February 26 and Tuesday 27 for very windy conditions. The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) is forecasting gusts of up to 70kmh at points.
It will also be a wet Monday, though the rain will mostly retreat to the north of the Region on Tuesday. We can also expect snowfall in areas with an altitude between 900 and 1,300 metres, such as in small mountain villages in the municipalities of Moratalla and Caravaca de la Cruz, which have already seen some snow this weekend (pictured, above).
Murcia weather warnings, Tuesday February 27
From Wednesday 28 onwards, the weather warnings will no longer be in force and we will return to the usual sunny conditions we have become accustomed to, though it will continue to be very blustery.
As the week goes on, the winds will die down, but there will be a noticeable drop in minimum temperatures at night. Over the course of the week, the highest daytime temperatures will be around 19-23ºC, but mostly it will be cooler than in previous weeks.
On Sunday March 3, there is a chance of more rain and windy conditions.

- Monday February 26: Min 7ºC; Max 20ºC
- Tuesday February 27: Min 5ºC; Max 18ºC
- Wednesday February 28: Min 2ºC; Max 22ºC
- Thursday February 29: Min 3ºC; Max 23ºC
- Friday March 1: Min 4ºC; Max 20ºC
- Saturday March 2: Min 1ºC; Max 22ºC
- Sunday March 3: Min 5ºC; Max 18ºC
